Les disques de polissage MERARD regroupent plusieurs feuilles d’une même toile de polissage.
L’épaisseur du disque est définie par le nombre de feuilles.
Ces feuilles sont assemblées entre elles :
- Soit par plusieurs coutures réparties sur toute la surface du disque – C’est un disque cousu
- Soit par des agrafes et un centre carton – C’est un disque centre carton

Le disque présente une bonne rigidité en surface et ne se déforme pas.
